PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing data in a radio communication system having an RLC entity, which can more efficiently transmit/receive PDU and can speedily process PDU by the RLC entity. SOLUTION: The data transmission device of the radio communication system having a radio link control hierarchy includes a transmission data reconstitution module receiving a service data unit from a high-order hierarchy and reconstituting it in the protocol data unit of the radio link control hierarchy, a heater addition module adding the header of the radio link control hierarchy in the protocol data unit reconstituted in the transmission data reconstitution module, a transmission data storage module storing the protocol data unit to which a header is added for transmitting it in the header addition module, and a ciphering module ciphering the protocol data unit to which the header stored in the transmission data storage module is added and transmitting it to a low- order hierarchy.
