<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide remote monitoring for overflow, by notification of an overflow state occurred at an ATM terminating equipment to an intra-office device, which monitors the ATM terminating equipment. SOLUTION: When an ATM terminating equipment 2 detects an overflow state of a cell inputted from an ATM subscriber terminal, it transmits the overflow-detected cell, which indicates overflow, to an intra-office device 4 via an operator 3. According to this arrangement, an overflow state occurred at the ATM terminating equipment 2 is notified to the intra-office device 4.</p> |
