PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte cell which does not create an environmental pollution problem after waste disposal, having a gasket with good sealing property. SOLUTION: By using a biodegradable polymer as a gasket 8 of the nouaqueous electrolyte cell, a danger of environmental pollution is eliminated, because the polymer is quickly decomposed when the cell is wasted as a used cell. For example, a natural polymer is used as a biodegradable polymer, and especially when a polymer, having cellulose and starch particles distributed in a chitosan layer, is used, a cell with good sealing property, preservation property, and waterproof property which is by no means inferior to the previous one, is obtained. |
