PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route retrieving system for retrieving a route from the position of a terminal unit and transmitting the route, etc., to the terminal unit. SOLUTION: When the radio communication part 102 of a route retrieving device 100 receives the identification number of the terminal unit 170, the identifying number is detected by an identification number detecting part 106, it is collated with the identification number of a database 108 and the position of the terminal unit 170 is specified from map information. Since the position of the route retrieving device 100 is calculated by a GPS receiving part 110, the route between the device 100 and the unit 170 is retrieved, an expected arrival time based on the retrieved route is calculated and the route and the expected arrival time are displayed on a monitor 112 and rapidly and easily established. Besides, the route and the expected arrival time are transmittable to the terminal unit 170 so that the user of the terminal unit grasps them. |
