PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an optimal aging processing to an organic EL element. SOLUTION: In addition to a film forming process of an organic film, an electrode-forming process, and a sealing process of the element, aging process is prepared further. The aging process carries out fitting a measurement result of luminance change in passage-of-time of the element measured beforehand, using a luminance fall function expressed with a formula (1), and obtains fitting parameters Ai and ki. By using those, a target lumina reduced by the aging processing is obtained from measurement formula (2) Lo(1-a+aAimin) (a=0.3 to 1.2, Ai comes from a term which snows a minimum ki from among ki (s) of the Aimin = formula (1)). The aging process carries out performing by driving the element, so that the luminance falls to the target luminosity. The aging process is performed in below the lowest glass transition temperature of the used organic films, and in the temperature of 50 deg.C or higher, on a constant current or a constant voltage supply condition that the initial luminosity of the element attains 1,000, to 20,000 cd/m2.
