PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material of less fluctuation in its image density against a light and a image recording method suitable to use the material. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material is formed by applying an image forming layer containing at least one of each organic silver salt, photosensitive silver halide and a reducing agent and a protecting layer in order on a base substance. The material is specified by containing a hindered amine in at least one of these layers.
