PREPARATION METHOD OF CATIONIC MICRO GEL AND ELECTRODEPOSITION PAINT COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE GEL

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a cationic micro gel and an electrodeposition paint composition containing the micro gel are provided, to improve the compatibility with a cationic electrodeposition resin, thereby enhancing the smoothness of coating and the corrosion resistance at the corner. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of reacting an aliphatic and aromatic diisocyanate, an acryl-type monomer containing a hydroxyl group and a tertiary amine containing a hydroxyl group and adding an organic acid and an inorganic acid to the product to prepare a quaternary ammonium salt intermediate; reacting the quaternary ammonium salt intermediate and polyepoxide containing two epoxy groups per molecule and having a molecular weight of 900-1,300; dispersing the product into deionized water to prepare a water dispersive solution; adding an initiator, an acryl monomer and a divinyl-type monomer to the dispersive solution to prepare a water dispersion containing micro gel by gelation; and drying the water dispersion to obtain micro gel.
