METHOD FOR MANAGING AND PROVIDING RADIO NETWORK QUALITY INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A method for managing and providing radio network quality information is provided to offer the cause information of a call drop or a call fail using a CAI(Common Air Interface) message measured between a mobile terminal and a base station. CONSTITUTION: A radio network quality management system receives radio network communication and fault data from a radio network operation system(211), stores the received data(212), and constructs a database for the stored data by time periods and base stations(213). The radio network quality management system links the constructed database with previously constructed map data for the management of call quality information(214). Also, after loading the previously constructed map data and enhanced call drop/fail data(221), the radio network quality management system receives a CAI message from a CAI measuring device(222) and observes whether a call drop or a call fail are recognized(223). If a call drop or a call fail are recognized, the radio network quality management system analyzes and records the cause of the call drop or the call fail according to the received CAI message(224). The radio network quality management system links the recorded data with the map data(225). If a call quality information request for a specific base station is received from a user(226), the radio network quality management system provides the recorded data to the user(227).
