PURPOSE: A ground anchor is provided which is pulled upon reaching the optimum length so that it can be inclined to a horizontal position in order to fix guy rods, cable and the like. CONSTITUTION: A rigid plate member has a tubular longitudinal central body portion (11) equipped with front and rear ends(11a,11b). Each of a pair of wing portions(12) has a plurality of sharp leading edges(14,14a,14b,15) longitudinally eccentric to one another and is extended in a lateral direction from the body portion along the length. A central axial leg portion(13) is projected from the front end of the body portion at the front of the wing portions and has a radial collateral edge(13a,13b). The plurality of leading edges of the wing portions include first, second and third longitudinal eccentric edges longitudinally separated by a wing portion edge(15a,15b,15c) parallel to the body portion.
