PURPOSE: A damper assembly of a torque converter lock-up clutch for an automatic transmission is provided to reduce weight, to prevent abrasion of a spring, noise and vibration, to escape an interference between the spring and an edge part of a driven plate hook device, and to reduce a manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A damper assembly of a torque converter lock-up clutch for an automatic transmission includes a number of coil springs(16), a piston(15), a retaining plate(14), a driven plate. The coil springs are connected to the circumference of the piston. The piston surrounds the coil springs. The retaining plate has separate sections connected when the coil spring and the piston are mounted. The driven plate is mounted on a turbine shell in the form of a curve.
