摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a lithium secondary cell, which is high in current density and energy density, excellent in charge/discharge cycle characteristics and comparatively easy to fabricate, and a lithium secondary cell using this electrode. SOLUTION: The negative electrode for a lithium secondary cell has a current collector and a tin alloy film laminated on the current collector by an electroplating method, and one or more metals selected from the group consisting of copper, zinc, cobalt and iron are used as alloy components for the tin alloy film. The lithium secondary cell comprises the negative electrode 1 for the lithium secondary cell, a positive electrode 2 and an electrolyte.
