PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish safety measures against the theft or loss of secret information including a cipher key and its recording medium or electronic communication equipment having the recording medium inside and the illegal use of an illegal authentication card, etc. SOLUTION: A personal identification data recording medium is provided, which has comparison data including one or more pieces of genuine data and pieces of fake data while the number of pieces of comparison data recorded on the recording medium is regarded as the number of pieces including one piece of genuine data and pieces of fake data; and one or more pieces are specified to determine genuine data and the remaining comparison data are specified as fake data.
