PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable phone, provided with a function that informs a user about each current time of the caller area and calling area and the time difference between them when making an international call. SOLUTION: The mobile phone 10, available inside and outside of the country receives country information of a country A from a radio base station 11, extracts the time difference information between a registered location and the country A, on the basis of the received country information of the country A and registration location information of the user registered, in advance by the user of the radio phone and calculated the time in the country A, in which the user is resident at present on the basis of the time difference information and the registration location information. When the user makes an international call request to a country B, the mobile phone 10 calculates the time difference between the countries A, B and the current time of the country B, displays the information items above on a display section 3, and informs the user about it in voice or the like, when there is a time difference between the countries A, B.
