PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a store clerk from taking an illegal action as to large denomination paper moneys by speedily using collected large and small denomination paper money, respectively, and unifying and managing the collected paper money even if trouble occurs in the collection stages of the paper moneys. SOLUTION: A reception part 100 temporarily stores paper moneys carried by a carrying device, a discrimination part 109 decides the denominations of the paper money in the reception part 100, and a distributing mechanism 110 distributes the moneys according to the decision result and stores them in storage parts. Namely, the large one (10,000-yen) are stored in a large money storage part 113 and other bills are stored in a small money storage part 111.
