APPARATUS FOR PRESS-SEALING FERROELECTRIC LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An apparatus for press-sealing a ferroelectric liquid crystal display panel and a method of manufacturing the apparatus are provided to improve alignment characteristic of liquid crystal by simultaneously using temperature and electric field. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for press-sealing a ferroelectric liquid crystal display panel includes a liquid crystal display panel pressing unit for pressing a liquid crystal display panel, and a heating coil(200) for heating the liquid crystal display panel. The apparatus further includes an electrode bar(210) that is set at one end of the panel pressing unit and comes into contact with an electrode pad of the liquid crystal display panel when the panel is pressed. The apparatus further has a temperature controller for controlling the temperature of the heating coil.
