PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image position inspecting device, for which a digital flat bed scanner supplied generally as an image input device can be used, while securing required measuring precision. SOLUTION: The image position inspecting device for detecting the image pattern position of a sheet-like matter to be inspected is provided with a holding means for holding the matter to be inspected, a restriction means for restricting a position for holding the matter to be inspected by the holding means, an image input means for acquiring two-dimensional image data with the top of the holding means as object, an image recording means for recording image data obtained by the picture input means, a matter to be inspected position detecting means for detecting the position of the matter to be inspected from the image recording, an image position detecting means for detecting the position of the image pattern of the matter to be inspected from the image recording, and a conversion means for converting detected data, obtained by the image position detecting means to absolute position data on the matter to be inspected by using position data of the matter to be inspected obtained by the matter to be inspected position detecting means. |
