PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a server for controlling an expendable printer item, a printing terminal, a method and a program for controlling the expendable printer item, and a storage medium for properly controlling the expendable item used for the printing terminal. SOLUTION: The ID of an expendable printer item used for the printing terminal 3 is checked by the control server 2, and only when the ID is identified, the printing output is possible. The number of printed sheets is controlled by the control server 2 or the printing terminal 3. When the printing of an allowable number of sheets (possible number of sheets to be printed) previously set for the expendable printer item is finished, the printing output is prohibited and exchange of the expendable printer item is urged.
