PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user authentication system, with which a user is efficiently authenticated. SOLUTION: This user authentication system for authenticating a user is provided with a registered image database 120 for storing the stamp seal image of a seal impression owned by the user as the registered image of the user, while making the stamp seal image correspond to user identification information which identifies the user, an input part for inputting the user identification information and one stamp seal image, an image comparing part 106 for calculating the matching degree between the registered image made to correspond to the user identification information on the user in the database 120 and the inputted stamp seal image, and a transaction permitting part 108 for permitting transaction with the user, according to the coincidence. |
