PURPOSE: A method for composing and editing a bell sound in a mobile terminal is provided to compose a bell sound according to a user's taste or to edit a previously downloaded and stored bell sound in order to make a unique bell sound. CONSTITUTION: As a user inputs the execution of a bell sound composing/editing application program through his mobile terminal, an MPU(Micro-Processor Unit) in the mobile terminal executes the program(401). The MPU judges whether the user wants to compose a bell sound or to edit old bell sound data(402). In case that it is judged that the user wants to compose a bell sound, the MPU provides a user interface so that the user can compose a desired bell sound in the method of inputting music. If the user completes his composition(411), the MPU converts the inputted bell sound data in a bell sound file format the mobile terminal uses(412). If it is judged that the user stores the composed bell sound data, the MPU stores the data in a flash ROM(431). |
