PURPOSE: A previous signal recording device is provided to record temporarily elapsed information even when manipulating a recording manipulation switch in the process of receiving broadcasting information, thereby promoting precise recording of broadcasting information source. CONSTITUTION: A previous signal recording device includes a receiving part(12) for receiving broadcasting signals transmitted from the outside, a delay element(14) for delaying the received signals, a recording element(20) for recording the input signal to a recording medium, a first switching element(16) connected between the receiving part and the recording element, and a second switching element(18) connected between the delay element and the recording element. Outputs from the first and second switching elements are alternatively supplied to the recording element as an input signal source.
