PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor drive, capable of eliminating strict requirements for installation accuracy of a rotational angle sensor, and ensuring proper output characteristics for the brushless motor. SOLUTION: A CPU 51 variably sets a switch timing of a switching device in a driver circuit 55 to the output signal of a hole sensor 57, when the load of an electric motor 3 is known. Data, indicating the switching timing when a current detecting circuit 56 detects standard load current, are written in an EEPROM 54 and are stored in nonvolatile manner. During normal usage, the CPU 51 on/off controls the switching device in the driver circuit 55, synchronized with the output signal of the hole sensor 57, with a timing corresponding to the data stored in the EEPROM 54. |
