PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp suitable for lighting foods arranged at food shop especially for meat. SOLUTION: A phosphor containing layer of the fluorescent lamp contains two kinds of phosphors, which are a broad band red color emitting phosphor with a peak wavelength of 610-645 nm, and a broad band blue-green color emitting phosphor with a peak wavelength of 465-495 nm. Recommendable phosphor is; (Sr, Mg, Ca)3(PO4)2:Sn2+, and Ca5(PO4)3F:Sb3+. The volume of ultraviolet-ray emitted from the fluorescent lamp is considerably reduced.
