FIRE ALARM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm which makes it possible to confirm the operation of a smoke detecting circuit through easy operation. SOLUTION: The fire alarm 1 is equipped with a smoke detection chamber 2 having an infrared LED element 3 and a photodiode element 4 which is irradiated by the infrared LED element 3 and receives light scattered by smoke entering it, and a buzzer which inputs the light reception signal from the photodiode element 4 and outputs an alarm according to the density of the smoke. A test body 7 which tests the operation of the buzzer by reflecting the irradiation light 31 from the infrared LED element 3 and receiving it by the photodiode element 4 is so provided that it can freely be operated from the outside of its main body 5 to exit into the smoke detection chamber 2.
