PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor devised to improve its ESR characteristics and elevate the productivity using a separator which has a good impregnation property of functional polymers in the separator and does not impede the polymers from polymerization. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor has a separator which is inserted between an anode foil and a cathode foil and impregnated with a conductive functional polymer polymerized in the separator as can electrolyte. An electrolytic capacitor having a separator made of base fibers containing polyamide fibers is provided as a basic means. Concretely, the capacitor contains polyamide fibers having a melting point of 250-290 deg.C at least 30% or more in the separator. The binder uses a wet heat fusible resin Povar or a heat fusible resin polyamide or polyethylene. |
