PURPOSE: A disorder deciding reference line of an air intake sensor installed in an air intake pipe is varied to prevent ignition stop when intake air signal is outputted intermittently. CONSTITUTION: A controlling portion receives signals from an air intake sensor. Whether signal from the sensor is shorted at 12V or grounded are decided. If then, it is decided as an electrical disorder. Then the intake air value is replaced to a modeled intake air value. If the signal is not shorted at 12V or grounded, it is decided whether the signal contacts to 12V or ground intermittently. If then, it is decided as an intermittent disorder of the sensor, and a flag showing it is put up. If it is decided that the signal does not contact to 12V or ground, it is decided whether a timer is set to 0. If the timer is 0, the controlling portion receives the intake air value.
