MICROSTRIP ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a microstrip antenna thin. SOLUTION: The microstrip antenna is configured such that a square radiation conductor 2 is formed on a rectangular solid dielectric board 4, a feeder line 5 is formed from the center point of one side 21 of the radiation conductor 2 at a side of a feed point F to an end of the dielectric board 4 and a ground conductor 3 is formed to surround the radiation conductor 2. The radiation conductor 2 and the ground conductor 3 are placed at a prescribed interval D1 and the ground conductor 3 and the feeder line 5 are placed at a prescribed interval D2 to form the ground conductor 3. Forming the radiation conductor 2 and the ground conductor 3 on one plane can decrease the thickness H of the dielectric board 4.
