PURPOSE: A composition for washing scalp and hair obtained by mixing a Chinese herbal extract and a seaweed extract with triethanol amine, benzoic acid and ethyl alcohol is provided which has an affect on stimulating the growth of hair on the scalp and washing the scalp and hair. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 100g Ganoderma lucidum, 150g Angelicae gigantis radix, 16g red ginseng, 56g Astragali radix, 10g seaweeds is mixed with 4.5L water and heated at 90 to 95deg.C for 3hrs to produce a 4L extract, which is mixed with 32g triethanol amine, 12g benzoic acid and 380ml ethyl alcohol and aged for 48hrs in an ultrasonic wave ageing device(15Khz).
