The active control device, on a vehicle with the aid of levers placed under the steering wheel, has switches (14,16) for controlling elements, each actuated by a lever (10). At a distance, the vehicle carries an electronic actuating module, for actuating the elements in response to the control of the switches. Members are placed in the base of the levers generating codes representative of the opening or closing of the interrupters and the codes are transmitted to the electronic module by inductive coupling of an antennae associated with these elements, with an antennae (28) connected to the electronic module.
