PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system reducing the effect of interference waves by improving an SN ratio in the radio communication system adopting a power control system. SOLUTION: The first radio communication system having an interference reduction function has a function controlling sending power from a terminal station. A power control means for controlling the sending power of a transmitter for the terminal station is mounted so that the power of a radio signal input to a receiver for a base station reaches a reference level. An attenuator attenuating power input to the receiver for the base station and a means for compensating signal power attenuated by the attenuator by a power control function in the terminal station are provided. Accordingly, signal power input to the receiver for the base station is held at a reference level, only interference signal power and noise power are attenuated, the SN ratio is improved, and the increase of communication errors due to an interference and noises is reduced.
