<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller that is utilized for simple and quick provision of information from external devices and answer information, in addition so as to attain significant power-saving in the entire society and remarkably enhance the convenience of users. SOLUTION: A communication means 11, a storage means 12 and an information processing control means 13 are added to the remote controller 5, installed to remotely control equipment to be controlled such as a hot-water supplier. A reception information discrimination section 131 discriminates whether received information from an external server via the Internet is temporarily or immediately displayed, depending on whether it is advertisement information or questionnaire information, or the like. The advertisement information is displayed only for a period, corresponding to display period information, and reply choices for the questionnaire information are sequentially displayed for each prescribed time, while displaying the questionnaire messages. When a user operates an entry operation means, such as an existing operation switch for the display time of the questionnaire information, an input signal processing section 133 generates reply data, by using a choice displayed at that time as the reply. When the reply data with respect to all the questionnaire messages are generated, a communication means replies the reply data to the server of a transmission source.</p> |
