<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a computer to individually produce video effect in an off- line operation mode, by enabling an image manipulator for handling image data and the computer for controlling the image manipulator to operate both on-line and off-line, in an image manipulating device for producing a digital video effects. SOLUTION: The image manipulator for changing the geometric parameter of an image represented by an input video signal, a processing means for generating manual operation command information to be sent to the manipulator, and a manual operation inputting means for inputting command information to the processing means and the computer are provided. The computer is provided with processing software that can operate as the processing means and a visible display unit, and a frame that is subjected to the same manual operation as the manual operation followed by an image handled by the manipulator is displayed on the visible display unit. The image manipulator can be separated from the computer, and the computer is set so as to operate independently.</p> |
