<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for forming an image in which the defective cleaning of toner easily generated in a cleaning device which arranges a cleaning blade near just above a cylindrical organic photoreceptor is ameliorated, and a good cleaning performance can be held for a long period of time even when polymerized toner is used. SOLUTION: In the method for forming an image by bringing the cleaning blade tip part of a cleaning device in contact with the cylindrical organic photoreceptor at a cylindrical central angle (β) within±30 degrees, when an upper part perpendicular to a cylindrical central axis is defined as 0 degree, the cleaning device has the cleaning blade and an elastic member, the cleaning blade is adhered to the elastic member on a surface opposite to a surface which comes into contact with the organic photoreceptor, and the free length (a) of the cleaning blade and the free length b1 of the elastic member are constituted so as to satisfy Formula 1.</p> |
