PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method that can provide positional information of other mobile terminals to a mobile terminal, without hampering one's privacy. SOLUTION: When a mobile phone 41 transmits positional information request to a mobile phone 42 and the mobile phone 42 accepts transmission of its position information to the mobile phone 41, the mobile phone 42 transmits its own position information obtained, by using a GPS satellite group 3 to the mobile phone 41. The mobile phone 41 outputs a display menu, where the position of the mobile phone 42 is specified on a map, depending on the positional information received.
