PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuner circuit that uses an inexpensive capacitive element in place of an expensive element so as to reduce a noise component due to shock and vibration affecting an image. SOLUTION: In place of an expensive low distortion multilayer capacitor used for a bypass capacitor between a tuning voltage supply line (VC line) and ground in a channel selection circuit of the television tuner adopting the PLL frequency synthesizer system, an inexpensive hollow cylinder capacitor having the same length L is employed. The capacitor is regarded as a 'beam' B in terms of the strength of materials, a section modulus Z is calculated, and the excellence of the shock proof characteristic of the hollow cylinder capacitor is shown through the maximum bending stressσwith respect to the same accelerationαat application of external vibration.
