RECYCLING TREATMENT METHOD FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively recycle liquid crystal panels to be subjected to disposal treatment. SOLUTION: This method includes a process step S2 of removing the polarizing plates attached to the liquid crystal panels formed by sealing liquid crystals between a pair of substrates subjected to panel alignment by sealing materials, a process step S3 of separating a pair of the substrates described above by heating the liquid crystal panels and drying the liquid crystals and a process step S4 of chipping off the surface deposits by subjecting the surfaces of the substrates after the separation to polishing treatment. The separation of the glass substrates is executed by arranging the liquid crystal panels for a short period of time in a heating chamber held at >=400 deg.C.
