PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing composition for a silver halide photosensitive material which achieves reduction of stain caused by a sensitizing dye remained in a photosensitive material after treatment and does not generate a deposit or precipitate when stored at a low temperature. SOLUTION: The processing composition for the silver halide photosensitive material contains a bistriazinylarylendiamine derivative and a diaminostilbene derivative.
