PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key inputting device capable of easily inputting characters with one hand. SOLUTION: This key inputting device is provided with a housing member 11 as a key holding part having configurations graspable with one hand and 5 input keys 17-21 arranged so as to be individually operated with the respective fingers of one hand in this housing member 11. Also, this key inputting device is provided with one more input key 22 added as an input key formed so as to be operated with the thumb and an input key 23 formed so as to be operated when butted to a part of the body of a user or peripheral equipment or the like by moving the whole housing member 11. Thus, it is possible to input characters by operating those 7 input keys 17-23.
