PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for setting the destination of a microcomputer by which electronic equipment to be controlled by various specification is surely operated by switching and setting extended specifications added with the most extended functions among the various specifications even when any significant defect is generated since the pin of the select port of the microcomputer comes off a substrate due to any factor. SOLUTION: A select port 8 with a built-in pull-up resistance 7 to be connected through an internal switch 6 is used, and when the select port 8 is read, the internal switch 6 is turned on, and the pull-up resistance 7 is connected to the select port so that when the select port 8 is not set so as to be pulled-up or pulled-down, the extended specifications added with the most extended functions among the extended specifications are set.
