PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation of refrigerator with pair of evaporator is provided to quietly operate the refrigerator without noise generated in accumulators by refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A method includes the steps of: a step(110) determining whether a compressor is operated; a step(114) completely shutting a valve controlling distribution of refrigerant supplied to a plurality of evaporators when the compressor stops; and a step(112) opening the valve, at least partly, if operation of the valve starts again. Noise such as refrigerant noise generated in accumulators is prevented thereby.
