PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which stapling processing is performed at a desired position by displaying the placing direction of an original at a display part in accordance with the size of the original placed by an operator and a position at which the stapling processing is performed. SOLUTION: In the case that the operator selects for instance the stapling processing, an image forming condition is firstly inputted from a control panel part 90, and the size of the original and the placing direction of the original are detected by a sensor 15, and next, the correct placing direction of the original placed on a platen and a direction to place are displayed on a display panel 156 by a controlling part 200. Then, it is confirmed whether the placing direction of the original and the direction of placing are changed or not by a detection switch 16 to detect the opening/closing of an original cover, and image forming is performed by a laser recording part 20, and a series of processing to perform the stapling processing is controlled by a paper post- processing part 30. |
