PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suitably charging for data transmission. SOLUTION: A file type detecting part 42 detects the type of a file transmitted to a portable telephone 2. A packet number detecting part 44 detects the number of packets generated according to the file, and a charging part 48 detects a unit amount associated with the type of the file from a charging information storing part 46. Multiplication of the detected unit amount and the packet number is performed to calculate the total charging amount corresponding to the transmission of the file. |
