PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit which quickly amplifies the output signal of a photodetector with low noise. SOLUTION: Since a switched capacitor circuit is used to perform subtraction and amplification of a reset voltage from an optical signal by several clock cycles, they are performed quickly. A circuit constitution which simultaneously samples the optical signal and the reset voltage is provided to realize a read circuit which is scarcely affected by the noise inputted mainly from a power supply system.
