PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display luminaire with a surface panel on the front side, with good appearance. SOLUTION: A light source 3 and a lighting device 4 of the light source 3 are installed on the front surfaces of almost the flat plate-shaped substrates 2, 2 acting as a reflecting plate, and the surface panel 6 is installed on the front side of the light source 3 to form a luminaire block. A plurality of luminaire blocks are integratedly covered with frame members 7 by opposing or joining substrates 2 so that the surface panel 6 is positioned on the surface side.
