PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide convenient communication terminal device and communication method capable of easily and inexpensively distributing a document received by facsimile from a public network to clients on a LAN and also setting a distribution time in each client and to provide a storage medium. SOLUTION: When the client of the transmission destination of a received image file is registered in a distribution destination information table, the header part and text of e-mail for transmission are prepared, the image file of the client of the distribution destination is subjected to full-page image transformation processing or cover page transformation processing to be transformed into an image format designated by the client, and the transformed image is attached to the e-mail as an attached file. Then, the prepared e-mail is transmitted to the client terminal 23 of the transmission destination registered in the distribution destination information table by an SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) through a mail server 22 on the LAN.
