PURPOSE: A method for inputting characters in a mobile terminal is provided to give convenience to users by adding a string copy and attach function in case that editing strings using an editor. CONSTITUTION: While inputting characters, a user copies repeated characters or characters for another sentence among the inputted characters and temporarily stores them in a buffer(S20,S21). In case that the reuse of a string among the copied and stored characters is required, the user copies the string using a copy key. Then the user attaches the copied string to a desired location using an attach key(S22).
