PURPOSE: A call control method in a system is provided to efficiently distribute limited resources by controlling call admission using a channel conversion rule between different traffics. CONSTITUTION: A base station catches the number of all allocated traffic channels and converts the number into a reference traffic equivalent channel number(Cref)(S10). In case that the allocation of additional channels is requested(S11), the base station judges whether the number of the requested channels is larger than 1(S12). If the number of the requested channels is smaller than or equal to 1, the base station calculates an increased reference traffic equivalent channel number(ΔCref)(S14). Then the base station compares the sum of Cref and ΔCref with the maximum allowable channel number of the reference traffic(S15). If the sum of Cref and ΔCref is smaller than the maximum allowable channel number of the reference traffic, the base station determines call admission(S17).
