METHOD OF FABRICATING TFT LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a TFT liquid crystal display panel is provided to connect a black matrix and a data line through a contact hole in a TOC type TFT-LCD structure to reduce parasitic capacitance. CONSTITUTION: Black matrix patterns(112) are formed on a substrate, and a color filter is formed between neighboring black matrix patterns. A gate line and an insulating layer are formed on the color filter. The insulating layer on the black matrix is selectively removed. A data line(119a) is formed on the black matrix to be connected with the black matrix through the removed portion(122) of the insulating layer. A thin film transistor is formed at the intersection of the gate line and the data line. A pixel electrode(121) connected to the thin film transistor is formed.
