<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of reproducing data smoothly in special reproduction such as fast forwarding, rewinding in the case of recording a multi-program with a many pieces of program data multiplexed to a single TS on a recording medium, in the case of recording data that a single TS has various kinds of screen format or even in the case of recording data at various recording speeds. SOLUTION: TS analysis is performed in recording data and a method for reducing data for special reproduction is switched to an optimal method depending on the number of programs to be multiplexed, the format of an original picture and the recording speed of data and recorded.</p> |
