OPTICAL PARTS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of joining GRIN(graded index) lenses effective for stabilization of the optical characteristics and mechanical strength of optical parts and multilayered dielectric films or capillaries. SOLUTION: The GRIN lenses 1 and 1 are arranged in a V-groove 12 of a filter module fixing jig 11 so as to be held in across an adhesive consisting of a UV curing resin and are fixed by a retaining cap 13. Next, force is exerted in the cylindrical axial direction of the GRIN lenses 1 and 1 onto the end face 1a and 1a of the GRIN lenses by pressurizing jigs 16 and 16. The UV rays emitted from light guides 17 and 17 for UV irradiation which are disposed to be inserted near the central parts of pressurizing jigs 16 and 16 and are connected to a UV light source transmit the GRIN lenses 1 and 1 and are made incident on the joint parts of the GRIN lenses 1 and 1 and the multilayered dielectric films 2 to cure the adhesive consisting of the UV curing resin, by which the GRIN lenses 1 and 1 and the multilayered dielectric films 2 are joined.
