PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a dividing connector where it is possible to easily confirm that a lock has been performed surely, when a sub-connector housing is housed in a frame. SOLUTION: The sub-connector housing 4 wherein a housing chamber 16, capable of housing a terminal fitting 3 and the frame 5 which is capable of housing this sub-connector housing 4 are installed at the dividing connector 1. A lock-receiving part 14 is installed protrudingly at both right and left side faces 4A of the sub-connector housing 4, while an elastic locking part 13 capable of elastic deformation is installed at an inner wall face 5A of the frame 5. When both members 4, 5 reach the normal assembling position, as the elastic locking part 13 returns and is deformed, an elastic space 15 becomes to have a prescribed size, and a detecting probe 20 can be inserted. However, when both members 4, 5 stop at half-assembling position, the elastic lock part 13 is made to be elastically deformed by being pressed by the lock-receiving part 14, and since the elastic space 15 is in a narrowed state, the detecting probe 20 becomes impossible to be inserted and it becomes clear that the normal fitting position has not been reached.
